Public Housing Program – Washington Manor Senior Residence
Washington Manor was constructed and placed into service by the Housing Authority of the City of Orange in August 1972 to provide a safe, secure, stable, and independent living environment for low-income seniors. For over five decades, Washington Manor has remained a trusted community resource dedicated to supporting the housing needs of older adults and disabled residents.
The building features 250 affordable residential units and offers a variety of on-site amenities designed to promote comfort, convenience, and quality of life. Residents enjoy access to a spacious community room with a pool table, an onsite fitness area, laundry facilities, a resident convenience store, vending machines, two ATMs, and 24-hour security. These services and features allow residents to maintain an active and independent lifestyle within a supportive and secure environment.
Washington Manor is a secure, community-based living facility committed to the well-being and safety of all residents. The Housing Authority continuously reviews applications for eligible applicants, including seniors aged 62 and older and disabled individuals aged 55 and older. Our goal is to provide affordable housing opportunities that allow residents to live with dignity, stability, and peace of mind.
As part of the Housing Authority’s Public Housing Program, Washington Manor is professionally managed and maintained to ensure a clean, welcoming, and respectful living community. Our dedicated staff works closely with residents to foster a positive atmosphere and address the needs of those we serve.
